What is CVE-2023-42820?

An API vulnerability in JumpServer exposes the random number seed, allowing potential replay attacks on verification codes, which may compromise account authentication. Users with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) activated or those not utilizing local authentication are not affected. It is crucial for users to upgrade to the latest versions (2.28.19 or 3.6.5) to mitigate this risk, as there are currently no workarounds offered for this vulnerability.
