What is CVE-2023-43357?

A Cross Site Scripting vulnerability exists in CMS Made Simple version 2.2.18, allowing local attackers to inject and execute arbitrary scripts via the manipulated Title parameter in the Manage Shortcuts component. This could lead to security exploits if not mitigated, as it provides a vector for malicious code execution that could compromise user data and web application integrity.
