What is CVE-2023-43495?
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Jenkins versions 2.423 and earlier, as well as LTS 2.414.1 and earlier. This issue arises from the lack of proper escaping of the 'caption' constructor parameter within the 'ExpandableDetailsNote' functionality. Attackers who can manipulate this parameter could inject malicious scripts, potentially compromising the security of affected systems.
