CVE-2023-43844
8HIGH
What is CVE-2023-43844?
The Aten PE6208 product versions 2.3.228 and 2.4.232 are susceptible to a security issue where the web interface utilizes default credentials for privileged accounts. This flaw poses a significant risk as users are not prompted to modify these credentials upon their first login. If these default credentials remain unchanged, it potentially allows malicious actors to gain unauthorized access and escalate their privileges within the system.
