What is CVE-2023-45141?
A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Fiber web framework, which allows attackers to exploit improper validation of CSRF tokens. This oversight enables unauthorized actions to be executed on behalf of legitimate users, endangering the security and integrity of applications built on the Fiber framework. To mitigate this risk, users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to version 2.50.0 and implement additional protective measures, such as captchas, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), and configuring session cookies with SameSite attributes.
