What is CVE-2023-47235?

A vulnerability in FRRouting FRR allows for potential crashes when a malformed BGP UPDATE message, accompanied by an End-Of-RIB (EOR) marker, is processed. This is due to improper handling of the EOR, which fails to trigger a treat-as-withdraw behavior, leading to unexpected system instability. This issue has been identified in versions up to 9.0.1 of FRRouting FRR.
