What is CVE-2023-47619?

Audiobookshelf, a self-hosted audiobook and podcast server, has a vulnerability in versions 2.4.3 and earlier that allows users with update permissions to access and manipulate sensitive files. This flaw enables them to read arbitrary files, delete files, and issue GET requests to external URLs. Consequently, it poses a significant risk of information disclosure, potentially exposing sensitive data or enabling further exploitation. Currently, no patches have been released to address this vulnerability.
