What is CVE-2023-47801?

A significant security issue has been identified in Click Studios' Passwordstate software, where pre-9811 versions are vulnerable to unauthorized access. Specifically, the System Wide API Key allows Security Administrators to read and delete private password records when utilized with the PasswordHistory API endpoint. Furthermore, there is a potential for misuse of the Copy/Move Password Record API Key, enabling unauthorized copying or moving of private password records, posing a risk to sensitive information management.
