What is CVE-2023-47861?

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the user name functionality of channelBody.php in WWBN AVideo versions 11.6 and the dev master commit 15fed957fb. This flaw allows attackers to exploit a specially crafted HTTP request, leading to the execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the affected user. By tricking a user into visiting a malicious webpage, an attacker can leverage this vulnerability to perform unauthorized actions, compromise user data, or execute other malicious scripts.
