What is CVE-2023-48217?
Statamic CMS, a content management system leveraging Laravel and Git, has a vulnerability that allows the unauthorized upload of crafted PHP files disguised as images. This vulnerability impacts front-end forms and asset upload fields in the admin panel, enabling malicious users to execute arbitrary code. Users are strongly encouraged to update to versions 3.4.14 or 4.34.0, as there are no known workarounds to mitigate the risk.
