What is CVE-2023-49238?

In versions prior to 2023.1, Gradle Enterprise has a vulnerability related to initial user authentication processes. The installation process may allow remote attackers to gain access due to a non-unique initial system user password. While this password is designed to be changed upon first login, an attacker could potentially exploit this weakness by logging in before the legitimate administrator has the chance to secure the system.
