What is CVE-2023-4931?

A local attacker can exploit an uncontrolled search path element vulnerability in the Plesk Installer. This weakness, found in version 3.27.0.0, allows for the execution of arbitrary code through the injection of malicious DLL files into the installation folder. Specifically, the attacker can manipulate files including edputil.dll, samlib.dll, urlmon.dll, sspicli.dll, propsys.dll, and profapi.dll, leading to potential DLL hijacking on affected systems.
