What is CVE-2023-49589?
An insufficient entropy vulnerability is present in the password recovery process of WWBN AVideo, specifically in the userRecoverPass.php file. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a specialized HTTP request that can trigger arbitrary user password recovery actions. By exploiting this vulnerability, unauthorized users may potentially gain access to user accounts without the need for valid authentication credentials, posing significant risks to user data security and privacy.
