Summary
The Jenkins Google Compute Engine Plugin suffers from an improper permission management vulnerability, allowing attackers with global Item/Configure rights to bypass individual job permissions. This permits them to enumerate system-scoped credential IDs stored within Jenkins. Furthermore, attackers can leverage these IDs to establish unauthorized connections to Google Cloud Platform, thereby gaining access to project details that should remain private. A fix for this vulnerability has been implemented in version 4.3.17.1.
