Command Injection Vulnerability in D-Link G416 Routers
CVE-2023-50200
8.8HIGH
What is CVE-2023-50200?
A command injection vulnerability exists in the D-Link G416 router, allowing network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code. This flaw arises from improper validation of user-supplied data sent to the HTTP service running on TCP port 80. As a result, attackers can exploit this vulnerability without authentication, executing code with root privileges on affected devices. This poses significant security risks, exposing vulnerable installations to potential remote exploitation and compromising network integrity.
