What is CVE-2023-50204?

A command injection vulnerability in the D-Link G416 wireless router allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code remotely. The flaw arises within the HTTP service operating on TCP port 80, due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input before executing system calls. This oversight can be exploited without authentication, enabling attackers to run code with root privileges on compromised installations.
