What is CVE-2023-50213?
A command injection vulnerability has been identified in the D-Link G416 router, allowing network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code without authentication. This flaw arises within the router's HTTP service operating on TCP port 80 and is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input, which can be exploited to perform unauthorized system calls. As a result, attackers can run code in the context of the root user, posing a significant security risk.
