What is CVE-2023-50257?
In eProsima Fast DDS, a vulnerability arises due to a failure to encrypt the data (p[UD]) and guid values used for disconnecting between nodes. This allows an attacker to forcibly disconnect Subscribers from the system, preventing them from receiving any data. When an attacker continuously sends the disconnection packet, all connected Subscribers are denied access, and new connection attempts are thwarted. This issue has persisted since before the release of versions 2.13.0, 2.12.2, 2.11.3, 2.10.3, and 2.6.7, indicating a longstanding security flaw within the disconnect mechanism of RTPS packets employed by SROS2.

Human OS v1.0:
Ageing Is an Unpatched Zero-Day Vulnerability.
Remediate biological technical debt. Prime Ageing uses 95% high-purity SIRT6 activation to maintain genomic integrity and bolster systemic resilience.

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
