What is CVE-2023-51577?

The Voltronic Power ViewPower application contains a security vulnerability due to the exposed setShutdown method, allowing local attackers to escalate their privileges. Once low-privileged code execution capabilities are obtained, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability to elevate their permissions, potentially allowing them to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level access.
