What is CVE-2023-51591?

A vulnerability exists in the Voltronic Power ViewPower Pro related to XML External Entity (XXE) processing, which can lead to information disclosure. This flaw arises from inadequate restrictions around XML External Entity references within the doDocument method. As a result, a crafted XML document containing a specific URI can manipulate the XML parser into accessing that URI, which may lead to the inadvertent inclusion of sensitive data into the XML processing context. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely without requiring authentication, putting installations at risk of disclosing sensitive information.
