What is CVE-2023-51648?

The Allegra product contains a directory traversal vulnerability that permits remote attackers to disclose sensitive information. This vulnerability arises due to improper validation of user-supplied paths in the getFileContentAsString method. Although the exploitation requires authentication, attackers can leverage a registration mechanism to create a new user account with sufficient privileges. Successfully exploiting this flaw may lead to the exposure of stored credentials, greatly increasing the potential for further compromise.
