What is CVE-2023-51653?

A vulnerability exists in the Hertzbeat real-time monitoring system due to improper handling of JNDI lookups in its JMX implementation. The flaw allows an attacker to exploit the /api/monitor/detect interface by injecting a malicious URL. When this URL is processed, especially one structured like service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://xxxxxxx:1099/localHikari, it can trigger remote code execution, potentially compromising the integrity and confidentiality of the system. Proper mitigations have been introduced in version 1.4.1 to address this severe security concern.
