What is CVE-2023-53906?

ProjectSend version r1605 is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability, enabling authenticated administrators to embed malicious JavaScript within the custom assets configuration page. This vulnerability allows attackers to craft a JavaScript payload, which will execute in the context of other users upon loading the affected page, resulting in persistent script injection and potential exploitation of users interacting with the application.
