What is CVE-2023-53907?

Bludit versions prior to 3.13.1 are susceptible to an authenticated file download vulnerability within the Backup Plugin. This flaw permits logged-in users to exploit the download feature by altering file path parameters, resulting in unauthorized access to sensitive system files via directory traversal techniques. This poses significant risks to the integrity and confidentiality of the files stored on the system.
