What is CVE-2023-53923?

UliCMS version 2023.1 contains a security flaw that enables unauthenticated users to exploit the UserController endpoint. By crafting a specific POST request to /dist/admin/index.php, attackers can create new administrative accounts without proper authorization, granting them full access to the system. This vulnerability poses a serious threat to the integrity and security of installations running this software, allowing malicious actors to manipulate or compromise administrative functions.
