What is CVE-2023-53931?

Revive Adserver version 5.4.1 is susceptible to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability through its banner advanced configuration page. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious link to the 'banner-advanced.php' endpoint, injecting malicious scripts into the 'prepend' and 'append' parameters.
