What is CVE-2023-53942?
File Thingie version 2.5.7 is susceptible to an authenticated file upload vulnerability that can be exploited by remote attackers. By leveraging this flaw, attackers can upload malicious PHP zip archives to the web server. Once the PHP payload is on the server, it can be executed to run arbitrary system commands through a specially crafted PHP script, posing significant security risks to affected installations.
