What is CVE-2023-53952?

Dotclear 2.25.3 has a vulnerability that enables authenticated attackers to exploit the blog post creation interface to upload malicious PHP files with the .phar extension. Once uploaded, these files can contain executable PHP system commands that run on the server when accessed. This flaw poses a serious risk of arbitrary code execution, potentially compromising the security of the server and the data it handles.
