What is CVE-2023-53954?

ActFax 10.10 has a flaw that exposes it to potential local privilege escalation due to an improperly configured service path for ActiveFaxServiceNT. This vulnerability allows attackers who have write access to Program Files directories to place a malicious ActSrvNT.exe executable, which would be executed with elevated privileges when the service is restarted.
