What is CVE-2023-53959?
The FileZilla Client version 3.63.1 is susceptible to a DLL hijacking vulnerability that permits attackers to execute arbitrary code. By strategically placing a manipulated TextShaping.dll file within the application directory, malicious actors can initiate a reverse shell payload. This vulnerability allows remote code execution as soon as the application is launched, thereby compromising the integrity of the system.
