What is CVE-2023-53969?

The firmware version 1.9.3 of the Screen SFT DAB 600/C is susceptible to a session management vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass authentication controls. By exploiting IP address session binding, an attacker can reuse the same IP address to conduct unauthorized requests to the userManager API, enabling them to change user passwords without the necessary authentication. This poses a significant risk to the security and integrity of user accounts on affected devices.
