What is CVE-2023-53972?

WebTareas 2.4 contains a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute SQL injection attacks via the webTareasSID cookie parameter. This flaw can be exploited using error-based and time-based blind techniques, enabling attackers to manipulate database queries. By leveraging this vulnerability, an attacker may extract sensitive information from the database, posing significant risks to system data confidentiality and integrity.
