What is CVE-2023-7305?

SmartBI V8, V9, and V10 are susceptible to an unrestricted file upload vulnerability through the RMIServlet request handling. Attackers can craft specific requests that may allow them to perform unauthorized actions or execute arbitrary code on the server, especially under certain configurations. A fix was released in July 2023 to mitigate this issue, following reports of exploitation by the Rondo botnet.
