Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in Nagios Log Server
CVE-2023-7321
5.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2023-7321?
Nagios Log Server versions earlier than 2.1.14 are exposed to a cross-site scripting vulnerability through the Snapshots Page. This weakness arises from inadequate encoding of untrusted log content for the output context, which permits attacker-controlled data logged in the application to execute scripts within a victim's browser on the application origin. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to upgrade to version 2.1.14 or later.
