What is CVE-2023-7323?

Nagios Log Server versions earlier than 2024R1 are susceptible to a cross-site scripting (XSS) flaw through the Create User functionality. This vulnerability stems from inadequate validation or escaping of user-input data, which could permit an attacker to insert and execute arbitrary scripts within the browser context of an affected user, potentially compromising sensitive information and leading to unauthorized actions.
