What is CVE-2023-7326?

The Epson Stylus SX510W printer contains a vulnerability in its embedded web management service that inadequately handles consecutive ampersand characters in query parameters. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the device, resulting in incorrect input parsing or memory management. This can lead to the printer process crashing unexpectedly or even powering down entirely, thereby creating a denial-of-service scenario for users.
