What is CVE-2023-7330?

Ruijie NBR series routers are susceptible to an unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability through the endpoint /ddi/server/fileupload.php. The issue arises as the endpoint inadequately validates and sanitizes user-supplied values in the 'name' and 'uploadDir' parameters, allowing attackers to upload malicious files, such as PHP scripts. Once uploaded, these files are accessible from the web root, enabling remote attackers to execute arbitrary code within the context of the web service. This vulnerability presents a significant security risk, potentially leading to unauthorized access and control over the affected systems.
