What is CVE-2024-10830?

A Path Traversal vulnerability has been identified in the eosphoros-ai/db-gpt version 0.6.0, specifically within the API endpoint /v1/resource/file/delete. This security issue allows an attacker to exploit the file_key parameter, which lacks sufficient sanitization, to delete arbitrary files from the server. By manipulating this parameter to specify unvalidated file paths, an attacker can effectively remove files that exist on the server, compromising data integrity and security.
