What is CVE-2024-11653?
A critical vulnerability has been identified in the EnGenius ENH1350EXT, ENS500-AC, and ENS620EXT wireless networking devices, affecting all versions up to 20241118. The vulnerability exists in the /admin/network/diag_traceroute functionality where improper handling of user-supplied input allows for command injection attacks. This flaw enables attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the device remotely, which poses a significant security risk. Although the vendor was informed about the vulnerability prior to its public disclosure, no response was received. Users are advised to take immediate action to secure their devices.
