Summary

A vulnerability in CTFd allows authenticated users to change their assigned team during an ongoing competition due to flawed logic in user assignment. This flaw permits a user to reset their bracket after initial registration, enabling them to switch teams and potentially disrupt competitive integrity. The issue affects versions 3.7.0 through 3.7.4. The vulnerability was addressed in release 3.7.5 with the incorporation of a fix from pull request 2636.
