What is CVE-2024-12029?

A vulnerability exists in InvokeAI versions 5.3.1 through 5.4.2, allowing remote code execution through the /api/v2/models/install endpoint. This vulnerability is due to the unsafe deserialization of model files with torch.load, lacking proper validation of input data.
