What is CVE-2024-12133?
A vulnerability in libtasn1 leads to inefficient processing of certain certificate data, particularly when handling a large number of elements. This inefficiency can result in excessive delays or system crashes. Attackers could exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted certificate, which may disrupt service availability and lead to denial of service conditions in affected systems.
