What is CVE-2024-12479?

CVE-2024-12479 is a critical SQL injection vulnerability found in the CJBI Wetech CMS versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2. The vulnerability is located in the searchTopicByKeyword function of TopicDao.java, where improper handling of user input allows remote attackers to manipulate the 'keyword' argument. This manipulation can result in arbitrarily executing SQL queries, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive data.
