Denial of Service Vulnerability in Open Web UI by Open-WebUI
CVE-2024-12534
7.5HIGH
Summary
In version v0.3.32 of Open Web UI, a critical flaw allows users to input excessively large payloads in the email and password fields during sign-in. The application lacks necessary character length validation for these inputs. As a result, an attacker can send large strings, which may exhaust server resources like CPU, memory, and disk space. This vulnerability can result in a Denial of Service condition, making the application unavailable to legitimate users without needing to authenticate.
