What is CVE-2024-13943?

A vulnerability in the QCMAP_ConnectionManager component of the Tesla Model S allows local attackers to escape from the sandbox environment. By exploiting this flaw, an attacker who has executed low-privileged code can manipulate the service to incorrectly assign Local Area Network (LAN) addresses to the Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN). This misconfiguration allows unauthorized access to network services that should only be available to the internal LAN, thereby posing a significant security risk.
