What is CVE-2024-13985?

A command injection vulnerability in Dahua EIMS allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary system commands. This issue arises from inadequate input validation on the captureCommand parameter processed via the capture_handle.action interface. Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted HTTP requests, leading to unauthorized command execution on the server, which jeopardizes the entire system's integrity and security.
