What is CVE-2024-2053?

The Artica Proxy administrative web application is vulnerable to remote code execution through the deserialization of arbitrary PHP objects provided by unauthenticated users. This flaw allows attackers to bypass existing protections against local file inclusion, leading to unauthorized access and code execution with the privileges of the 'www-data' user. This issue was notably observed in version 4.50 and could have severe implications for server security.
