What is CVE-2024-21110?
A vulnerability exists in the Oracle VM VirtualBox product from Oracle Virtualization, specifically in the Core component. The issue affects all supported versions prior to 7.0.16. This vulnerability can be easily exploited by a low-privileged attacker who has logged into the settings infrastructure of Oracle VM VirtualBox. It requires interaction from a user other than the attacker to execute a successful attack. If an attack is successful, it can lead to the full takeover of the Oracle VM VirtualBox environment, compromising the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the system.
