What is CVE-2024-21576?

The ComfyUI-Bmad-Nodes product is vulnerable to a code injection issue due to a validation bypass present in its custom nodes, specifically BuildColorRangeHSVAdvanced, FilterContour, and FindContour. This vulnerability arises from the call to eval in the entrypoint function of each node, which can be exploited by crafting a malicious input string within a workflow. Consequently, this flaw can lead to the execution of arbitrary code on the server, posing significant security risks for deployments utilizing this product.
