What is CVE-2024-21758?
A vulnerability exists in Fortinet's FortiWeb that enables a stack-based buffer overflow affecting versions 7.2.0 through 7.2.7 and 7.4.0 through 7.4.1. This flaw can be exploited by a privileged user who inputs specially crafted CLI commands, successfully bypassing the stack protection mechanisms in place. If exploited, this could lead to unauthorized execution of arbitrary code, posing significant security risks.
